1. Where is Villa Phiroze Baug Located?
Located at Bordi beach front on the Maharashtra side of the Dahanu-Umbergaon Coastal road 150 kms from Mumbai & Surat.
2. How many rooms does the Villa have and how many adults and children can it accommodate?
The Villa has a total of 4 large 350 sq feet rooms. Each room can accommodate upto 3 adults OR 2 adults + 2 Children. If you book all 4 rooms then we permit upto 4 adults per room (16 adults in total).
3. Can the guest book the Villa on a per room basis or does the guest have to book the entire Villa?
Our guests can book either 1,2,3 or 4 rooms depending on the number of adults and children in the group.
4. How far is the Villa from the beach?
The Villa is 500 m from the centre of Bordi beach. The access to the beach is across the road and the beach is clean and safe for children.
5. Do you provide meals to guests?
Villa Phiroze Baug is run as a hosted heritage homestay. Meal plan is fully flexible.
A) We can provide Veg, Jain and Non veg meals as per our preset Menu to guests at a nominal extra cost. All meals are made by local housewives of the village.
B) Guests may also use the fully equipped kitchen (Gas, Cooking Utensils, Microwave Oven, Air fryer, Barbecue grill) using their own ingredients.
C) Guests can also order meals from outside from Local Restraunt’s that deliver the following Cuisine:
-Chaat
-Indian
-Mughlai
-Chinese
-Pizzas
-Burgers.
There is no restriction in bringing any outside food.
6. Is alcohol consumption permitted on the property?
Yes, guests may buy alcohol locally and consume the same on the property. We do not sell or serve any alcohol. We would expect our guests over the legal age to consume their own alcohol in moderation and responsibly.
7. Does Villa Phiroze Baug allow us to bring our pets?
Yes, We are pet friendly and allow upto maximum one pet per room booked by our guests. Please note that Pets should not be allowed to sit or sleep on the beds and furniture. We expect our pet parents to clean up after their pets litter.
8. Does the Villa have a swimming pool & are there any restrictions?
The villa features a full-size, eco-friendly swimming pool with a maximum depth of 4 feet, available for all guests to enjoy. For safety reasons, non-swimmers must wear appropriate flotation devices and be accompanied by an adult who is a confident swimmer.
Guests are kindly requested to wear suitable swimwear while using the pool. To maintain a safe environment, containers are permitted near the pool area to prevent accidental breakage and injury.
Please note that pets are strictly prohibited from entering the swimming pool under any circumstances.
